Is this an original antique map?
No — it is a high-resolution museum-quality reproduction of the 1861 original, printed to order on archival fine-art paper. You get all the detail and character of the antique map in a brand-new, ready-to-hang framed print.
What paper and inks do you use?
Heavyweight archival fine-art paper with pigment giclée inks — rich, fade-resistant colour that stays true for decades.
How is it framed?
Every map is cut, mounted behind a hand-cut mount and framed to order in your chosen moulding. Deeper gallery mouldings are float-mounted so the print appears to float within the frame.
What sizes can I order?
The map is offered at several sizes, all printed at the original's natural proportions. The price reflects the printed area plus your choice of frame and mount.
Can I use this map commercially?
The underlying 1861 map is in the public domain. Our reproduction, framing and finishing are sold for personal display.
