About this frame

A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Your names, printed on the mat

The names and date are printed straight onto the mat in archival pigment ink, in the border below your photo. Choose a layout, a lettering style and an ink colour, and we print and frame it to order.

French lineA fine double line around your photo, in the same ink as the names. Available on larger sizes.

Is the text engraved?

No. Looking for an engraved wedding photo frame? Ours are personalized by printing your names and date directly onto the mat in archival ink. Printing stays sharp at small sizes and works in any of our seven lettering styles, which engraving can't match.

What can I have printed?

Your names on the first line (up to 40 characters) and, if you like, your wedding date beneath. You choose the layout (Plain, Monogram or French line), the lettering and the ink colour, and the preview shows exactly what we print on the mat.

Can I leave the date off?

Yes. The date is optional; with names only, they sit centred on their own.

Why can't I choose every size?

The names need a deep enough border below the photo to print well, so we only offer the sizes that have one. The French line layout needs a little more room again, so it appears on the larger sizes.

Do I need to upload a photo?

You can upload your wedding photo and we'll print it, or choose frame only and add your own photo when it arrives. The names are printed on the mat either way.

How long does it take?

Every frame is printed, cut and framed to order, and dispatched in 2–5 working days.
