A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Choosing a frame for your 18 × 24 inch artwork

An 18 × 24 inch frame holds a sheet measuring 457.2 × 609.6 mm without a mount. It gives posters, illustrations and photographic prints a larger wall format while retaining 3:4 proportions. It is not the same size as A2 (420 × 594 mm); measure your paper before choosing between them.

The starting option is frame-only. To use this frame for smaller artwork, add an optional mount with an opening labelled 12 × 18 or 11 × 14 inches. Those openings have different proportions, so the border will not necessarily be the same width on all four sides.

For an 18 × 24 inch print with a mount border, a 24 × 32 inch frame offers an opening for that artwork size. Choose the larger frame and select the 18 × 24 inch opening in its options. The frame profile extends beyond the listed paper size, which is worth allowing for when planning a group of framed prints.

Mount opening labels refer to the artwork size. We cut the window slightly smaller so the mount overlaps the edges and helps prevent the artwork from falling through. Keep any signature or important detail away from the paper’s edge.

What size artwork fits an 18x24 frame?

An 18 × 24 inch frame holds an 18 × 24 inch sheet (457 × 610 mm) without a mount. Measure the full sheet, including any printed border.

What mounts are available for an 18x24 frame?

You can add an optional mount with an opening labelled 12 × 18 or 11 × 14 inches, for smaller artwork. The mount is an extra selection and is not included with the starting frame-only option.

What frame do I need for an 18x24 print with a mount?

Choose a larger frame with an 18 × 24 inch opening: 24 × 32 inch, 22 × 28 inch or A1 frames all offer one. Select the opening in the larger frame’s options.

Can I put an A2 print in an 18x24 frame?

An A2 sheet (420 × 594 mm) is smaller than 18 × 24 inches, so it would sit loose without a mount. Choose an A2 frame, or a 24 × 32 inch or A1 frame with an A2 opening.

Is 18 × 24 inches the outside size of the frame?

No. It is the size of the artwork the frame holds. The moulding extends beyond that, so the overall outside dimensions depend on the profile you choose. Allow for the frame border when measuring your wall space.

Are the frames real wood?

Yes. Our wood mouldings are solid wood with closed-grain, open-grain or bobbin finishes, handmade in the UK. Metal mouldings are real aluminium.
