About this frame
A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.
Materials & specification
- Real solid-wood moulding, cut and finished in our workshop.
- Clear cast-acrylic glazing — lighter and safer in transit than glass.
- Backed in archival foamboard with sealed edges.
- Ships with hanging hardware fitted; larger frames include wire + screws.
- Prints on archival paper with pigment inks, 100+ years light-fast.
Delivery & returns
Each frame is made to order. UK orders typically dispatch within 2–5 working days. International shipping calculated at checkout.
If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

What landscape sizes do you offer?
Any of our 20 standard rectangular sizes can be hung landscape — from 15×20cm and 8"×10" through A4, A3, A2 and A1, plus 30×40cm, 40×50cm and 12"×16" through 24"×32". The customiser lets you toggle between portrait and landscape preview.
Will the frame arrive ready to hang landscape?
Yes — order with the landscape preview selected and we'll fit the hanging hardware for horizontal display.
What's landscape framing best for?
Panoramic landscapes, group photos, wide artwork, cinema-style prints, and pairs of horizontal images. Anything where the picture is wider than it is tall.
Can I add a mount to a landscape frame?
Yes — mounts are available on all rectangular sizes in white or black, with apertures sized to match.
