A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a clean, bright white in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits light interiors, airy gallery walls and modern or Scandi rooms. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Choosing a white frame

A white frame recedes against a pale wall, so the artwork does the talking. It suits light interiors, Scandi and coastal rooms, nurseries and gallery walls where you want the frames to feel light rather than heavy.

The slim 17mm profile comes in a smooth closed-grain finish or open grain, with the wood texture visible through the white. For larger prints, the 20 × 32mm gloss white profile adds depth, and the flat 33mm face gives a broad, clean border. The turned bobbin profile is the decorative option, a beaded edge that has become an interiors favourite.

Pair it with a white mount for a bright, gallery-style finish, or a black mount to draw a sharper line around black-and-white photography.

Do white frames work on white walls?

Yes, if you want the artwork to be the focus: the frame fades back and the image stands out. If you want the frame itself to stand out against a white wall, choose black, oak or a colour instead.

Are the frames real wood?

Yes. All our white frames are solid wood, in smooth closed-grain, open-grain, gloss, flat and bobbin profiles, each made to order in our UK workshop.

What sizes do white frames come in?

More than 80 sizes: inch sizes from 6 × 8 up to 24 × 36, metric sizes up to 60 × 90 cm, A4 to A1, square, and panoramic formats up to 100 × 40 cm. Choose yours in the frame options on this page. For a size that isn’t listed, use our custom-size frame designer.

Is the size the outside of the frame?

No. The size is the artwork the frame holds. The moulding adds its own width on every side, so the outside dimensions depend on the profile you choose. Allow for the frame border when measuring your wall space.

Can I add a mount?

Yes, as an optional extra. Choose a white or black mount, or a premium mount with a pattern or printed text, when you set up your frame. The openings on offer depend on the frame size you pick.

What comes with the frame?

Each frame is cut and assembled to order in our UK workshop, with clear cast-acrylic glazing and archival backing, and arrives ready to hang. Orders are dispatched in 2–5 working days.

Can you print my photo, or just send the frame?

Both. Upload a photo, print or artwork and we print it and fit it in the frame, or choose frame only and we send the empty frame for your own artwork.
