About this frame
A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.
Materials & specification
- Real solid-wood moulding, cut and finished in our workshop.
- Clear cast-acrylic glazing — lighter and safer in transit than glass.
- Backed in archival foamboard with sealed edges.
- Ships with hanging hardware fitted; larger frames include wire + screws.
- Prints on archival paper with pigment inks, 100+ years light-fast.
Delivery & returns
Each frame is made to order. UK orders typically dispatch within 2–5 working days. International shipping calculated at checkout.
If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

A2 (420 × 594 mm) is a statement size — large posters, art prints and gallery-style photography. Roughly four times the size of A4.

What's a A2 picture frame best for?
A2 is a versatile size for prints, photos and posters. Sits well on a desk, shelf or wall — large enough to make an impact, small enough to group with others.
Can I add a mount to a A2 frame?
Yes — two mount apertures available — A3 (large) or A4 (small), in white or black.
Are the frames real wood?
Yes. Our wood mouldings are solid wood with closed-grain, open-grain or bobbin finishes, handmade in the UK. Metal mouldings are real aluminium.
How long does delivery take?
Each frame is cut and assembled to order. Dispatched in 2–5 working days.
