More photos need more wall. For 21 photos we'd start at 24" x 24", A1 or 24" x 32". On a 20×20" square, 21 photos land at roughly 4.0" each — comfortable to look at from a few feet away. Go a size up if faces matter, or if several photos are group shots.

21 tiles neatly as 3×7, so you can go wide or tall depending on your wall. A 3×7 arrangement suits a portrait print; flip it for a landscape one. All the portrait sizes have a landscape twin, so pick whichever way your wall runs.

Yes. The layout crops each photo to fit its slot, and you set the crop yourself — drag to reframe so nobody loses the top of their head. With 21 photos, a mix of portrait and landscape is normal; if a shot only works uncropped, put it in the largest slot.

For prints up to A3 / 12×16, a modern phone shot taken at default quality is plenty. Larger sizes benefit from the highest-quality source you have. Send the originals rather than versions forwarded through WhatsApp or saved from social media, which are heavily compressed — and upload them: the configurator flags anything that's likely to print soft before you order.
