The craft

What makes it special

Great design deserves great craftsmanship. That’s why we do everything ourselves — from the printing to framing — all in our London studio. Every material is carefully chosen for its quality and sustainability, sourced only from trusted manufacturers in the UK and Europe. While many brands rely on mass-produced frames or outsourced production, we take pride in creating every piece with care — so you receive a product that looks and feels as special as the moment it celebrates.

What size print should I choose for 13 photos?

More photos need more wall. For 13 photos we'd start at 16" x 20", A2 or 20" x 20". On a 20×20" square, 13 photos land at roughly 5.0" each — comfortable to look at from a few feet away. Go a size up if faces matter, or if several photos are group shots.

How are 13 photos arranged on the print?

13 won't divide into an even grid — no pair of whole numbers multiplies to 13 — so the layout gives one photo more room as a feature image and arranges the other 12 around it. That reads more like a designed page than a spreadsheet, and it means your strongest photo gets the space it deserves. Choose that one first.

Can I mix portrait and landscape photos?

Yes. The layout crops each photo to fit its slot, and you set the crop yourself — drag to reframe so nobody loses the top of their head. With 13 photos, a mix of portrait and landscape is normal; if a shot only works uncropped, put it in the largest slot.

Will photos from my phone be sharp enough?

For prints up to A3 / 12×16, a modern phone shot taken at default quality is plenty. Larger sizes benefit from the highest-quality source you have. Send the originals rather than versions forwarded through WhatsApp or saved from social media, which are heavily compressed — and upload them: the configurator flags anything that's likely to print soft before you order.

Can I add a frame and mount?

Yes. Choose a made-to-measure frame and a matboard mount as you design the collage, and it arrives ready to hang. You can also order the print on its own and frame it yourself.
