About this frame

A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Spent hours on a jigsaw? Keep it. We cut frames to fit completed puzzles, from 500 pieces to most 1500-piece jigsaws — just measure your finished puzzle and choose the matching size.

What size jigsaw frame do I need?

Measure your completed puzzle and pick the matching size (box sizes vary, so measure first):

  • 50 × 70 cm - most 1000-piece jigsaws: Ravensburger, Gibsons, Wasgij, Jumbo, Schmidt, Clementoni.
  • 60 × 80 cm - Ravensburger 1500-piece.
  • 20 × 27 inch - Buffalo Games, Cobble Hill, Ceaco and Eurographics 1000-piece.
  • 24 × 30 inch - White Mountain and Springbok 1000-piece.
  • 18 × 24 inch - Cobble Hill 500 and White Mountain 550-piece.
  • 16 × 22 inch - Buffalo Games 300 and 500-piece.
  • 39 × 13 inch - Ravensburger 1000-piece panorama.

Ravensburger or Gibsons 500-piece (about 49 × 36 cm)? Custom framing opens at that size. A Ravensburger 1000-piece needs the 50 × 70 cm frame, not 20 × 27 inch. For any other size, custom framing cuts a frame to your measurements.

How do I get the puzzle into the frame?

Slide the assembled puzzle in like a print. Puzzle glue on the back first makes it easier to handle.

Can you frame very large puzzles?

Up to a point: we can frame a puzzle up to 26 inches (66 cm) on its short side and about 51 inches (130 cm) on its long side, using custom framing for sizes not listed here. That covers almost every 1000-piece and 1500-piece puzzle. Most 2000-piece puzzles are too large.
