About this frame

A slightly deeper 21mm profile with a 17mm rebate, in oak with a smooth, open grain finish. The extra depth leaves room for thicker pieces - comics, magazines, diamond paintings, artwork on card or board - behind the glazing and mount. Each frame is cut, mitred and assembled to fit, handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Frame a magazine cover

A whole magazine is too thick for a slim frame, so these use our deeper 21mm moulding: frame the issue as it is, with nothing cut out.

For an A4 magazine (21×29.7cm), choose the A3, 30×40cm or 40×50cm frame with the A4 opening. For a US magazine (about 8-8½×10½-11"), choose the 11×14", 12×16" or 16×20" frame with the US magazine opening. Or frame it with no mount in an A4 or 8½×11" frame.

What size frame do I need for a magazine?

Measure the magazine, then pick:

  • A4 magazines (21×29.7cm) - A3, 30×40cm or 40×50cm frame with the A4 mount opening, or an A4 frame with no mount.
  • US magazines (about 8-8½ × 10½-11") - 11×14", 12×16" or 16×20" frame with the US magazine opening, or an 8½×11" frame with no mount.

A different size, such as a supplement or a large-format title? Custom framing makes one to its measurements.

Can I frame the whole magazine, not just the cover?

Yes. The 21mm moulding is deeper than our slim frames, so a complete issue fits behind the mount and glazing.

Do you frame magazine covers for businesses?

Yes - publishers, agencies and brands order framed covers for offices, clients and cover stars. Add the title or a message printed on the mount, and contact us for multiple frames.

Do I need to send you the magazine?

No. We make the frame and mount and post them to you, and you put the magazine in at home.
