About this frame

A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Frame an instant photo

Instant photos are too small for a frame on their own, so these come with a mount already added. The opening is cut to the whole print, so its white border shows, and the mount holds it by the edges.

A Polaroid (Original, 600 or i-Type) or an Instax Mini fits the 6×8" or 15×20cm frame. An Instax Wide fits the 8×10", which also takes a Polaroid with a wider border.

Add printed text to the mount - a date, a place or a line from the day.

What size frame do I need for a Polaroid?

Choose the opening for your print:

  • Polaroid (Original, 600, SX-70 or i-Type, about 8.8×10.7cm) - 6×8", 15×20cm or 8×10" frame.
  • Instax Mini (5.4×8.6cm) - 6×8" or 15×20cm frame.
  • Instax Wide (10.8×8.6cm) - 8×10" frame.

Instax Square or another size? Custom framing cuts the mount to fit.

Will the white border show?

Yes. The opening is cut to the whole print, so the mount covers only the outer few millimetres.

Do I need to send you the photo?

No. We make the frame and mount and post them to you, and you put the photo in at home.
