About this frame

A slim 13mm face on a deep 22mm profile with an 18mm rebate, in black with a closed grain finish. The depth takes gallery spacers and float mounting, and thicker pieces - diamond paintings, canvas boards, bead art - behind the glazing. Each frame is cut, mitred and assembled to fit, handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made for you

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

A frame with room for the drills

A diamond painting is not flat: the drills stand a millimetre or two proud of the canvas. These frames use a slim 13mm moulding with a deep 18mm rebate and a 6mm white spacer under the glazing, so the glazing never presses on the drills. Paint by numbers on board and fused bead art fit the same way.

Choose your kit's size and leave Add my photo unticked: the frame arrives ready to hang and you fit your piece at home. Most kits are 30×40cm or 40×50cm (12×16" or 16×20").

FAQ

Common questions,
honest answers.

What size frame do I need for my diamond painting?

Measure the canvas and choose the matching size. The canvas usually has a blank border around the drills: frame it at the full canvas size and the border shows as a neat edge, or fold it behind the backing board and frame the drilled area (the nearest size, or custom framing for an exact fit).

Should a diamond painting go behind glazing?

Glazing keeps dust off and stops loose drills falling out, and the spacer holds it clear of the surface. The frames come glazed. If you would rather see the sparkle with nothing in front, lift the glazing out before fitting your piece.

How do I fix the canvas in the frame?

Lay the canvas flat on the backing board (a little double-sided tape at the corners stops it creeping), roll it firmly so every drill is seated, then close the frame. A sealant spray first helps on older pieces.

Can I frame bead art (Perler, Hama, pindou)?

Yes. Fused bead art is rigid, so it can float: stick it to the backing board with a few glue dots, centred, and choose a frame a size larger than the piece so there is a border round it.

What about paint by numbers?

Kits on a flat board or rolled canvas frame the same way. A paint by numbers already stretched on a wooden frame is a stretched canvas, which needs a much deeper moulding: ask us.

Do I need to send you my piece?

No. We make the frame and post it to you, and you fit your piece at home.
