About this frame

A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

What can I have printed?

Your names on the first line and, if you like, a second line beneath: the day you got engaged ("Engaged · February 14, 2026"), "Est. 2026", or a few words of your own. You choose the layout, the lettering and the ink, and the preview shows exactly what we print on the mat.

Is the text engraved?

No. Looking for an engraved engagement photo frame? Ours are personalized by printing your names straight onto the mat in archival ink. Printing stays sharp at small sizes and works in any of our seven lettering styles, which engraving can't match.

Is it a good gift for a couple, or for a boyfriend or girlfriend?

Yes. It works as an engagement gift for a couple, a Valentine's or anniversary gift for your partner, or a keepsake for the two of you. Add both names, and the date that matters to you.

Can I have the words printed on the photo instead?

Yes. If you would rather have the words printed under the photo, as part of the print, see our Caption Photo. It is printed and framed to order too, and costs less.

Why can't I choose every size?

The names need a deep enough border below the photo to print well, so we only offer the sizes that have one. The French line layout needs a little more room again, so it appears on the larger sizes.

Do I need to upload a photo?

You can upload your photo and we'll print it, or choose frame only and add your own photo when it arrives. The names are printed on the mat either way.

Will it arrive in time for Valentine's Day?

Every frame is printed, cut and framed to order and dispatched in 2–5 working days. Delivery times for your country show at checkout, so order early for any date that matters.
