About this frame

A slim, square 17mm profile — understated and endlessly versatile, in a deep, confident black in a smooth, closed-grain finish. It suits monochrome photography, bold typographic prints and anything you want to feel grounded and gallery-sharp. Each frame is cut, mitered and assembled to fit your print — handmade in the UK and shipped ready to hang.

Made to your size. Every frame is cut, joined and glazed to order, which is why we can't accept returns on made-to-measure frames. Please check your size before ordering.

Arrives perfect, or we remake it. Every frame travels in specialised picture frame packaging. If anything reaches you less than perfect, send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll remake it free.

Caring for it. Peel any protective film from the glazing, then clean with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use glass cleaner.

Keep the invitation

An invitation is smaller than a frame, so these frames come with a mount already added: its opening holds the card by its edges. Pick the frame for your invitation below, then the opening that matches it.

A 5×7" invitation (the most common size) fits an 8×10", 9×12" or 10×14" frame. An A5 invitation fits a 30×40cm, A4 or A3 frame. A 6" square fits a 10×10" or 12×12", and a 15cm square a 20×20cm, 25×25cm or 30×30cm.

Want your names and date on it? Add printed text to the mount. For an A6, DL or other size, custom framing cuts the mount opening to fit.

What size frame do I need for a wedding invitation?

Measure the card, then choose the frame with the matching opening:

  • 5×7" (12.7×17.8cm) - 8×10", 9×12" or 10×14" frame.
  • A5 (14.8×21cm) - 30×40cm, A4 or A3 frame.
  • 6" square - 10×10" or 12×12" frame.
  • 15cm square - 20×20cm, 25×25cm or 30×30cm frame.
  • 4×6" (10×15cm) - 6×8" frame.

A6, DL or another size? Custom framing cuts the mount opening to your invitation.

Can you print our names on the mount?

Yes. Add printed text to the mount - your names, the date, the venue - in the lettering of your choice. You see it on the preview before you order.

Do I need to send you the invitation?

No. We make the frame and mount and post them to you, and you slip the invitation in at home.

Can I frame the invitation with a photo from the day?

Not in one frame: each frame holds one item. Order a second frame in the same moulding for a photo and hang them side by side.
